ANDREW SEUBERT  Andrew Seubert

Andrew Seubert, LPC, NCC, is the Director of ClearPath Healing Arts Center in Corning, New York and an approved EMDR consultant and Instructor.  He is a licensed psychotherapist with 25 years experience, training in music therapy and in an Existential-Gestalt model. He specializes in trauma, posttraumatic stress, eating disorders, couples, and the integration of spirituality and psychotherapy.

Andrew is a highly engaging, interactive therapist and workshop facilitator whose passion is expressed in his use of music, creative imagination and humour. His first book, The Courage to Feel: A practical guide to the power and freedom of emotional honesty, was published in June of 2008.  He has also published chapters in EMDR Solutions and in EMDR Solutions II.

This two-day workshop will begin with a review of the EMDR protocol, emphasizing case formulation, resource development, target selection and the development of negative and positive cognitions. This will provide the basis for the use of structural dissociation, ego state therapy, attachment assessment and repair when working with complex PTSD and eating disorders.

This workshop will employ didactic teaching, as well as video clips of live sessions and the opportunity to renew old skills and practice new ones.  Time will be reserved for case consultations.
