(and parking information)

The following directions are to St. Mary's Convent School, Mount Battenhall, Battenhall Road, Worcester,WR5 2HP, which is the venue for the training events

St. Mary’s Convent School (originally called Battenhall Mount) is an impressive Victorian mansion set amidst 15 acres of gardens and woodland.  Built in the mid 1860s in the Italianate style popularised by Prince Albert and substantially extended 30 years later by Sir Percy Allsopp.  During the First World War the house was used as a Convalescent Home.

In 1934, the house was taken over by the Sisters of St. Marie Madeleine Postel, a French teaching order with a convent in Reading who wished to establish a convent and school in Worcester.

DISABLED ACCESS

St. Mary's Convent School is a listed building and as such disabled access is limited.  However the events take place on the ground floor and the school has mobile ramps which make access via the front door a simple process.

The nearest Railway station is Worcester Shrub Hill from where you will need to take a short taxi ride to the venue (approx 5mins)
